Due to misuse of library property, we are having to establish clearer library rules

Library Lending Rules

1.Lending: Only 2 books and/or 2 movies may be checked out by one individual at a timefor up to two weeks. By the end of the two weeks, loaned materials must be returned or have loan extended by calling or coming in to the library. If only one of two items is returned, only one more item can be loaned out to them.

2. Late or Not Returned Items: An individual who has more than one item overdue may not be allowed to check out any more items until they have returned the times, replaced the items, or paid the library a $15 restocking fee.

3. Library Contact Cards: Every individual who lends from the library must have an updated contact card file at the library. Children’s contact cards must include a parent/guardian name and phone number. Young children may be listed on their parents’ card.
