Our library summer reading program will begin June 11^th and continue until July 16^th. Our theme this year is “Color Our World”. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate! Please come to the library to pick up a reading points card. The more you read, the more points you can earn to win great prizes! Each Wednesday at 1:30pm at the library, we will have a time of reading, crafts, and snacks. Come and have some fun with us!

Also join us on Friday June 20th at 1pm for a concert by Phil Baker – Music for Kids!

Due to misuse of library property, we are having to establish clearer library rules

Library Lending Rules

1.Lending: Only 2 books and/or 2 movies may be checked out by one individual at a timefor up to two weeks. By the end of the two weeks, loaned materials must be returned or have loan extended by calling or coming in to the library. If only one of two items is returned, only one more item can be loaned out to them.

2. Late or Not Returned Items: An individual who has more than one item overdue may not be allowed to check out any more items until they have returned the times, replaced the items, or paid the library a $15 restocking fee.

3. Library Contact Cards: Every individual who lends from the library must have an updated contact card file at the library. Children’s contact cards must include a parent/guardian name and phone number. Young children may be listed on their parents’ card.

We’ve added Book Series of the Month for little kids, youth, and adults- all at the desk for easy checkout!

Stop in check out lots of new books like: Green Lights by Matthew McConaghey, Save Me by Lisa Scottline, The Last Mile by David Baldacci, The War of Our Childhood by Wolfgang W.E. Samuel.

Summer Reading will be held thru July 12th. In library activities will be held Wednesdays at 1:30pm.
